We may be small but…

It’s true. PrizeHunters is a small traffic exchange. A very small traffic exchange by some standards.

Oh, I suppose it would have been larger if I hadn’t been regularly pruning out inactive members…

Or, if I had only known how to use that blasted ftp software so I could have made the changes I wanted to make to the site much sooner… (I’ll save that story for another time. :D )

Or, if I had been more diligent about advertising it…

It’s easy for me to sit back and look at all the things I’ve done wrong when it comes to running PrizeHunters. I’m still making mistakes. I’m still getting things wrong. But…

~ On the brighter side ~

I started doing things right when I updated the traffic script to the one I really wanted…

I started doing things right when I learned I no longer had to use the blasted ftp software…

I started doing things right when I started focusing primarily on how to build and improve PrizeHunters and make it unique from other traffic exchanges.

I’ve been getting more involved. Opening up, yet trying not to talk ears off, and paying attention.

Tim Lindens blog has been very helpful to me. Especially his series on “how to spot a bad traffic exchange”. I cringed to think that PrizeHunters might fall into that category on every level, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been. ;) Whew!

Today I was encouraged by Jon Olson’s blog as he stated his opinions on the “Big T.E. vs Little T.E. Debate.” It’s nice to be reminded that those huge traffic exchanges started from zero at one time. They had to work their way up the ladder just like we do.

Which brings me to that little surprise I’ve been talking about lately…

I hope you’ll be pleased with my little surprise. I’m going to be giving it to you in just a few days. It’s going to be very helpful to you when you surf the traffic exchanges. It’s going to help you do some other important things too. It’s also going to be an awesome advertising tool. Just wait. ;)

We may be small right now… but it ain’t gonna be that way forever. :D
